View Tour Summary
Day 1-4 Kauai
We start your island hopping experience in the least crowded Kaua’i. Courtyard by Marriott Kaua’i treats you with comfort as you enjoy the next three days right off the beach. Kaua’i, being the slowest pace out of all the islands, makes it the most fitting start for your well deserved vacation. Your second day kicks off with a complimentary breakfast with your tour friends. Your included tour takes you to the west side of Kauai, visiting the old town of Poipu and the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the Waimea Canyon. Witness with awe the power and forces of nature that shaped this mile deep canyon. Get close to the forbidden island of Ni’ihau, privately owned by the Robinson family since 1864. Visit the Kauai Coffee Plantation to sample the taste of Aloha. Optional tours are available from your tour director for these three days so you can fully appreciate the “Garden Island” of Kaua’i and its natural beauty!
Days 5-7 Maui
Maui no ka oi (Maui is the best), is hailed by all locals on this island. Nicknamed the “Valley Island” because of its unique formation from two different volcanoes that connected, creating a valley in between. From dry land to lush rainforest, it is a sight to behold. No wonder so many celebrities choose Maui for their vacation homes. Your included tour is a narrated bus tour to the historic war site of Iao Valley, where King Kamehameha of Hawaii fought to conquer Maui. Drive to the town of Lahaina through the sugar cane fields on the central plain of the island and see the last remaining sugar mill. Lahaina, once the whaling capital of the world, is a town that refuses to change with time and remains unchanged. You will have free time to self explore the town and shop, before we go to our hotel. We spend three nights at the Maui Coast Hotel at the foot of Mount Haleakala and enjoy the different optional activities, recommended by your Tour Director.
Day 8-10 Big Island
You fly to the town of Hilo on the Big Island and drive across to Kailua, Kona where we will stay for the next three nights at the Courtyard by Marriott Kailua, Kona. A full day filled with amazing scenes and an informative narrated tour from your knowledgeable and humorous tour driver. The Mauna Loa chocolate factory, Volcano National Museum and a hike through the Thurston lava tube, are just part of the fun. See and smell the orchids at the Akatsuka Orchid Nursery, where orchids of all sorts and colors are displayed. And for fun, find out why one of these orchids costs $20,000… Get up close to the Halema’uma’u crater, where vapor plumes have continued to rise since 1982. After learning about the formation of these island and volcanoes, we descend to sea level to the black sand beach of Punalu’u. Dig your feet in the black sand for a natural pedicure and watch the endangered green sea turtles feed in the open. Enjoy the water of Kona with the various water optional activities available from your tour director.
Day 11-14 Oahu Waikiki
We wrap things up in the busiest and the most commercialized island of Oahu to prepare you for returning home. Being the cheapest island among all, it is ideal for getting loved ones souvenirs. Your included tour is to the famous Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial. Learn about the events that led up to the attack of Pearl Harbor, that forced the United Stated to join the WWII. With your professional Tour Driver narrating, enjoy your city tour through our growing capitol of Honolulu, with all our government and historic buildings. We disembark at the Iolani Palace to take an audio tour at your own pace. Walk the same steps and hallways the royalties of the Hawaiian Kingdom did, before it was overthrown in 1898. Your final Hawaiian home for your vacation is at Courtyard by Marriott in Waikiki, providing you comfort and serenity away from home.
